1. About EPILEPSY ONTARIO Few people know the facts about epilepsy, but 26 Canadians are diagnosed with it everyday. In fact, one in 100 Canadians lives with epilepsy. It is the second most common neurological disorder, after migraines. Even so, many people feel isolated or misunderstood because seizures are not openly discussed. As the province’s voice of epilepsy, Epilepsy Ontario is here to change that. Your contribution can bring hope. Through a network of local agencies, contacts and associates across the province, Epilepsy Ontario reaches out to people with epilepsy and their loved ones. We do this by providing: client services including counselling and referrals, information education and advocacy services."

"Programs Epilepsy Ontario proudly supports people with epilepsy in two signature programs: The Osler Epilepsy Scholarship: Since 2006, Osler Business Consulting Ltd. has supported students with epilepsy by funding the Osler Epilepsy Scholarship. This year, up to four students across Ontario could win a $1,500 scholarship for post-secondary education. Summerfest Summer Camp: At Camp Couchiching in Longford Mills (90 minutes outside Toronto), kids with epilepsy aged six to 15 build lasting friendships while participating in all sorts of activities from canoeing to rock climbing."
