Healthy habits
by Monica Alejandra Morales
1. Eat fiber-rich foods
1.1. Healthy eating should not leave out vegetables, fresh fruits, whole grains, beans, nuts, nuts, raw seeds and other foods that are sources of fiber
2. Reduce the consumption of fat
2.1. Research shows that it is best for fats to occupy around 25-30% of total calories consumed. The vast majority of fats you eat should be healthy fats such as omega-3 fatty acids.
3. Sleep eight hours a day
3.1. It is during the hours of sleep when our body recovers from the activity of the day. For this reason, take rest as a priority to stay healthy and energized.
4. Drink enough water
4.1. It is said we should drink at least 8 glasses of water daily. Drinking clean water and purifies the body inside, eliminates toxins, helps us digest food better, accelerates the work of the metabolism (which can help us lose weight) and, to top it off, improves the appearance of the skin and hair.
5. Exercise regularly
5.1. Physical activity is an essential aspect to keep us healthy. However, we must exercise prudently. Walking daily or lifting light weights on a frequent basis is more advisable than performing high impact isolated exercises.
6. Eliminate negative habits
6.1. Say goodbye to excessive consumption of caffeine and other stimulants. Not to mention to abandon the consumption of alcohol and if you are a smoker, give up smoking! Try to replace bad habits with new healthy habits. You will feel much better in the short term and your body will thank you over the years
