1.1. Body length: between 3.5-5 ft Tail length: 23-32 inches

1.2. Weight: 46-160lbs
1.3. Difficult to tell the male and females apart just by looking at them.
1.4. Muscular long legs with semi-retractable claws.
1.5. Color: Tan with solid black spots with a white stomach

2.1. Cheetahs have black marks running from the corner of their eye to their mouth, these are known as "tear marks" and they are there to keep the sunlight out of their eyes and allows them to hunt more efficiently.
2.2. Cheetahs can reach speeds up to 70mph, making it the fastest land animal.
2.3. Cheetahs purr, not roar.
2.4. Offspring of cheetah is called a cub.
2.5. When cheetahs run they steer with their tail.

3. Habitat: Where do Cheetah's live?
3.1. Cheetahs live in the grasslands of East Africa and in national parks such as the Serengeti and Masai Mara.
3.2. They can live anywhere as long as there is prey for them to survive.
3.3. Usually found where there is low population of lion and hyena.

4.2. All felines are carnivores, they feed on small hooved mammals, such as gazelles and impalas
4.3. To take on larger mammals such the cheetahs hunt in groups
