Camp Health Information EHR

1. Allows changes to the record only by the RN with password/encryption

2. Must be accessed by password on a device that does not allow the EHR to stay logged in.

3. Prior to camp the camp nurse sends each registered camper's parent a link to the health history form and medication record

4. Parent

4.1. Parent must create an account with a password to fill out the Health History forms & Med Admin Record. When it is completed the camp nurse will get a notification to review the record

4.2. Primary Healthcare Provider receives information directly from parent. At the end of camp the camp nurse will review and close each patients chart which will automatically send the parent a notification that the child's medical record is complete and can be printed or received electronically by the parent if they choose

7. Camp Nurse

7.1. Camp Nurse has access to every campers record on an encrypted device that requires a password and/or the nurses biometric information

7.2. Each time the nurse administers a medication or renders care to a child when it is placed in the child's electronic record the parent will receive a notification on their device that a change has been made to their child's electronic record. It will be a simple notification with no identifying information. To see the information the parent must log into the EHR with their password.

8. Sends notifications of changes to medical record to parent without identifying any patient information without logging in with password

9. Encrypted, cloud managed

9.1. When the camp nurse makes a change to the record because it is cloud managed it will automatically update the record immediately for the parent or nurse. That way if the nurse is using a mobile device charting can be more accurate since nurse will not have to go to a main computer. Not having a main computer and using cloud based service makes a main computer less of a target for those who wish to get private health information
