CONDUCTORS AND INSULATORS
by Sofia Ricottilli
1. There are two types of material
1.1. CONDUCTORS
1.1.1. When electricity moves easily through a material, this is called CONDUCTOR
1.1.1.1. Good conductors are:
1.1.1.1.1. METALS
1.1.1.1.2. LIQUIDS
1.1.1.1.3. GASES
1.2. INSULATORS
1.2.1. In insulators, electrons are not free to move around, they remain attached to their atoms.
1.2.1.1. Good insulators are:
1.2.1.1.1. GLASS
1.2.1.1.2. RUBBER
1.2.1.1.3. WOOD
1.2.1.2. They are important for electrical safety.
