1. Copper Age

1.1. The copper age, or known as the transformation from the neolithic age to the bronze age is all about developing new cultures to the people in France. The first culture that they developed in the copper age is the Seine-Oise-Marne culture. The SOM culture was named by archeologists in the last of Neolithic age in the northern France around a river called the Oise river and the Marne river. In the beginning of the 2600 BC, there was a new culture called the Artenacian culture, it is a reaction to the Danubian people (for example SOM culture) on the western France.

2. Bronze age

2.1. In this era, France started to develop new cultures, there was the Beaker culture, Tumulus Culture, Urnfield culture, Wessex culture and the Unitice culture. There was not much prove for this era, so there isn't much to find.

3. Metal Age

3.1. In this era, the people in France started to use metal as a material for their daily equipment. It is considered as a very modern era in that moment, they started to live in a different way. They also developed a new language due to their new culture that is called the Hallstatt culture. in the time, the language was called the Celtic language, it was used in the late Urnfield or the early Hallstatt. It was discovered that this culture was an influence from the greek. Lots of things changed in this era, how they speak, how they use things, the materials that they used, and more. Also, the Celtic France was usually called Gaul by the Romans.

4. Stone Age

4.1. Mesalitikum Period : this is the transformation from the paleolitikum age to the mesalitikum. There was a new culture that was callled the Magdalenian culture in the south-west of France. it was a culture that is almost the same as the culture of the Europian. They didn't experience the mesalitikum era that much, so there isn't much to find.

4.1.1. Paleolitikum Period : Based on the findings of the Modern era, this Period is when humans started to find out about stone tools. It is estimated that it happened approximately 1 million years ago. There was also caves and shelters left from the era, it is quiet amazing to know that it still exists after all of those years, even though maybe its not standing as firm as before. there was a fossil that was left called the Homo Erectus in a cave called the Arago cave in Tautavel from 450.000 years ago.

4.2. Neolitikum Period : This period was proved that it started from 4.000 BC onwards. In this period, Humans started to figure out to make houses and other structures using wood and stones, so they can start to have a place to stay in and start to find animals as they're daily meal. This period was mostly proven on a place called Brittany, but the most interesting and unique finds of the period was found on Cerny, near Paris.

4.2.1. Megalitikum Period : There was no prove that France experienced this period. Based on the information, France only experienced Neolitikum, Mesalitikum and Paleolitikum.
