Slumdog Millionaire

1. Main characters: Jamal, Salim & Latika.

2. Jamal and Latika met in the aftermath of a riot, when they were very young, and Jamal and his brother had just lost their mother.

3. Jamel and his brother, Salim, lost their mother at a young age. As the grow older, Salim is persuaded by Javed, the main antagonist of the movie, to work for him.

4. The two stories run parallel to each other, and meet in the end, when Jamal finally gets the love of his life.

5. Latika ends up marrying Javed. During Jamals journey, he finds Latika and convinces her to leave Javed. After much consideration, she leaves him for Jamal.

6. Jamel and his brother Nadeem live in a slum. They were left homeless after their mother was killed.

7. Jamal uses his experience wins the show using the observations from his life experiencing journey. This is displayed through flashbacks.

8. It is Jamals quest to find his great love, Latika, which sets Jamal and his brother out on a journey. The journey takes him to the Indian version of ""Who Wants to Be a Millionaire".
