1. hospital acquired pneumonia

1.1. ติดเชื้อที่ปอดหลังเข้ารักษาใน รพ >48hr

2. Ventilator associated pneumonis

2.1. ติดเชื้อที่ปอดสัมพันธ์กับ on ventilator > 48hr

2.2. หรือหลังหย่าเครื่อง ภายใน 48 hr

3. Main causes

3.1. Aspiration (endogenous pathogen)

3.1.1. เชื้อจาก oropharyxn/trachea/on cuff presure

3.1.2. เชื้อจาก nasal sinus/ gastric content

3.2. Inhalation (exogenous pathogen)

3.2.1. Ventilator circuit

3.2.2. Neubulizer

3.2.3. Biofilm in ET-tube

4. Diagnosis

4.1. CXR show infiltration

4.2. 2 in 3 of this

4.2.1. Temp > 38°C

4.2.2. Leukocytosis > 12,000 cell/mm3

4.2.3. Purulent secretion (take G/S C/S)
