1.1. To talk about a present situation and a future consequence

1.3. EX: I'll meet you tonight if I don´t have too much homework // I'll meet you tonight unless I don´t have too much homework
1.3.1. ATTENTION: If not=unless
2. Second conditional
2.1. To talk about impossible/hypothetical situations.
2.2. If + past simple + would
2.3. EX: I would visit you if you were in hospital
3. Third conditional
3.1. To talk about past situations and their consequences.
3.2. If + S + past perfect + S + would have + past participle
3.3. If we had grown up in Hawaii, we would have learnt how to surf.
