1. Judicial

1.1. Who: The United States, is part of the judicial branch. The Supreme Court is made up of 9 judges called justices who are nominated by the President and confirmed by the Senate.

1.2. What: They are in charge of interpreting the laws and the Constitution.

2. Executive

2.1. Who: The vice president is part of the executive branch.

2.2. What: The President is responsible for implementing and enforcing the laws written by Congress and, to that end, appoints the heads of the federal agencies, including the Cabinet.

3. Legislative

3.1. What: The most important duty of the legislative branch is to make laws.

3.2. Who: The members of the two houses of Congress is the House of Representatives and the Senate.
