1. Besides comparing people and objects,you can also compare places considering location,environment,cultural facts and general condition among other aspects.Comparative adjectives end with the suffix-er.

2. Noun+verb be +comparative adjective+than+noun.

3. If the one-syllable adjective ends with an e, just add -r for the comparative form. Example: Large - Larger

4. If the one-syllable adjective ends with a single consonant with a vowel before it,double the consonant and add-er for the comparative form. However,do not double the consonant in words ending in -W-X or -Y.

5. One-syllable adjective ending with a single consonant with a single vowel before it. Example: Fat - Fatter

6. Two-syllable adjectives. With most of two - syllables or more adjectives that do not end in Y,you form the comparative with the use of the word MORE. Example: Peaceful - More peaceful.

7. If the two-syllable adjectives ends with -y, change they to i and add -er for the comparative form.Example: Happy - Happier.

8. If there is only one syllable,with more than one vowel or more than one consonant at the end you add -er. Example: Fast - Faster.

9. Exceptions. Irregular adjectives. Good-Better Little-Less Far-Farther Bad-Worse

10. Dany´s car is larger than Max´s car.

11. Rosa Maria is more careful than Concepción.
