1. My Newest Job/Experience

1.1. Founder and editor-in-chief at www.dragonnfruit.com.

1.2. Dragon Fruit is my personal lifestyle and fashion blog where I highlight the latest trends, editorials and designers. I also include recipes, arts and craft DIYs, feature my favorite restaurants and yoga studios.

1.3. I use social networking as a way to increase traffic to my blog. I have a Facebook fan page, Twitter following and Bloglovin' and Google Friend Connect following. I have 10 sponsors now for the site.

1.4. I've endorsed brands before and practiced creative, strategic and brand marketing.

2. Skills and Interests

2.1. I have basic knowledge of HTML and have redesigned the Blogger interface for Dragon Fruit. I use Picnic photo editing software. I'm proficient in Microsoft word, power point and excel. I know basic JavaScript and Photo Shop.

2.2. I'm interested in learning more about everything I already know the basics in. Web design is extremely interesting to me and I would like to become better at that.

4. Education

4.1. I enrolled at Arizona State University in May of 2008. I was originally an undeclared major, then Communications with a Global Studies Minor. My sophomore year I changed my major to Nutrition Communications with a concentration in Media Analysis.

4.2. I decided I wanted to further my knowledge and study abroad, I chose Portugal on a whim because of the beautiful things I had heard about it. At the Universidade Nova de Lisboa I studied Portuguese Language and Media. (Best country I've ever visited!)

5. Part-Time Jobs

5.1. Urban Outfitters in Tempe, Arizona (sales associate). I helped customers choose trends they were comfortable with while explaining the latest fashions. I maintained the organization of the storefront while working with the staff as a team to actively protect against theft.

5.2. Solo Cafe in Tempe, Arizona (barista). I keep the atmosphere of the cafe light and enjoyable with a friendly attitude towards each customer. I hand make drinks accordingly to each individual customer.
