4.2. A performance assessment is an assessment that measures what a student can do with the knowledge that they have acquired. It evaluates how a student can apply that knowledge through demonstration of their instructional skill.

5. Diagnostic

5.1. A diagnostic test is a way for instructors to test students before they present instructional content. This assesses what the students already know where their misconceptions are coming from, and how plan a lesson plan that will better support their students needs.
