Why is access to quality early childhood development, care and pre-primary education so important?

2. A quality, trained teacher/caregiver can provide quality learning experiences.
3. Provides an environment for young children to interact with their peers so they can develop all-important social skills.
4. A number of large-scale studies demonstrate that participation in high-quality, center-based pre-K programs positively influences all children's kindergarten readiness.
5. How can we offer quality preschool opportunities for all children?
6. Should we lower the required age to attend school to 3 years old?
