1.1. scores from a test are correlated with an external criterion

1.1.1. Concurrent Criterion-Related Validity-deals with the measures that can be administered at the same time as the measure to be validated; evidence yields a numeric value

1.1.2. Predictive Validity- refers to how well test predicts some future behavior of the examinees. This is also useful & important for aptitude test

2.1. if the relationship to other information corresponds well with some theory
