1.1. At the reading corner, as a group talked about soltice and why people celebrate light getting meaningful feedback from the students
2. Integrative
2.1. Displayed social science topics along with language arts using the same theme. The teacher started the lesson with a book and centers and then for a hands on activity she talked about the world revolving around the sun
3. Meaningful
3.1. Apply meaningful knowledge from outside the classroom into the classroom by incorporating seasons and holidays into the lesson
4. Active
4.1. After proper instruction, students worked together as groups at a variety of centers
5. Value Based
5.1. As a group, the class discussed cultural diversity concerning the celebration of holidays
