2.1. The legal rights and restrictions governing technology use.

2.2. Appropriate- A stundnet downloads music off itunes.

2.3. Inapropriate- A stundet downloads music off Lime wire.

3. Digital Communicaton

3.1. The electronic exchange of information.

3.2. Appropriate- A student does not use their cellphone in the middle of class.

3.3. Inappropriate- A student is texting during class and they are using shorthand text for answers.

4. Digital Literacy

4.1. The capability to use digital technology and knowing when and how to use it.

4.2. Appropriate- Stundent is able to complete project on new software at home.

4.3. Inapporpriate- Stundent can't do an assignment at home with technology.

5. Digital Etiquette

5.1. The standards of conduct expected by other digital technology users.

5.2. Appropriate- The student goes out of the room to talk on their phone without bothering other people.

5.3. Inappropriate- The student speaks loudly in a room while they are on their cellphone and disrupts other people.

6. Digital Access

6.1. Full electronic participation in society.

6.2. Appropriate- A student should be able to use technology for a project in school.

6.3. Inappropriate- Not allowing students to use technology when it is needed. Ignoring their wants.

7. Digital Security

7.1. The precautions that all technology users must take to guarantee their personal safety and the security of their network.

7.2. Appropriate- Protecting all personal information from hackers and viruses.

7.3. Inapporpriate- Identity is stolen due to not having updated fire walls and from having viruses.

8. Digital Rights and Responsiblilities

8.1. The privileges and freedoms extenede to all digital technology users, and the behavioral expectations that come with them.

8.2. Appropriate- Stundent cites websites on work cited page for report.

8.3. Inapropriate- Stundent steals work from website and does not cite it.

9. Digital Commerce

9.1. The buying and selling of goods online.

9.2. Appropriate- Buying something online from a reliable website that can be trusted with your information.

9.3. Inappropriate- Buying things online without properly protecting your account.
