1. Multiple Intelligences

1.1. We all have areas where we can express our true genius.

1.1.1. Musical/Rhythmic

1.1.1.1. People who demonstrate musical intelligence normally have good pitch and may even have absolute pitch, and are able to sing, play musical instruments, and compose music.

1.1.2. Visual/Spatial

1.1.2.1. This intellifence demonstrates spatial judgment and the ability to visualize with the mind's eye

1.1.3. Linguistic

1.1.3.1. This intelligence demonstrates skill with words and languages.

1.1.4. Logical

1.1.4.1. This intelligence demonstrates skill with logic, abstractions, reasoning, numbers and critical thinking.

1.1.5. Bodily-kinesthetic

1.1.5.1. This intelligence allows for control of one's bodily motions and the capacity to handle objects skillfully.

1.1.6. Interpersonal

1.1.6.1. This intelligence is characterized by sensitivity to others' moods, feelings, temperaments, motivations, and their ability to cooperate in order to work as part of a group.

1.1.7. Intrapersonal

1.1.7.1. This intelligence is characterized by a deep understanding of the self; what one's strengths or weaknesses are, what makes one unique, being able to predict one's own reactions or emotions.

1.1.8. Naturalist

1.1.8.1. This intelligence is deeply rooted in a sensitive, ethical, and holistic understanding of the world and its complexities – including the role of humanity within the greater ecosphere.

2. Advanced Development

2.1. This is the driving force behind taking this knowledge of your gifts and truly giving them to the world in a lifetime of creative service.

2.2. Composed of three elements.

2.2.1. Humanistic Vision

2.2.1.1. For me this means a life philosophy guided by the sanctity and beauty of life.

2.2.2. Mandated Mission

2.2.2.1. A resolute, inner-directed, uncompromising goal orientation that strives in concert with one’s life purpose.

2.2.2.1.1. It is most recognizable in the form of steadfast individual perseverance.

2.2.2.1.2. The person who perseveres against all odds to fulfill an obligation or dream often seems foolhardy to less optimistic individuals.

2.2.3. Revolutionary Action

2.2.3.1. The conceptual leap, or leap of faith—the ability to take action beyond accepted norms.

2.2.3.2. It is the active ingredient of Evolutionary Intelligence

2.2.3.2.1. An active ingredient is the part of a substance or compound that produces its chemical or biological effect.

2.2.3.3. Through this, we see a real-world manifestation of high potential. It is the dream made real, the word made flesh.

3. “Of course you’re different. You’re intense, complex, and driven because you’re gifted.”

3.1. It's okay for me to be this way. There is nobody to blame.

4. GENIUS

4.1. Genius was derived from a word used by the ancient Romans.

4.1.1. They believed the genius to be a guiding inborn spirit who protects, reassures, and coaches throughout life.

4.2. For the Everyday Genius, being fully alive entails two distinct but inseparable missions

4.2.1. Being free to be oneself, and second, being dedicated to the betterment of others’ lives.

4.3. Know who you are. Know what your unique strengths and gifts are.

4.3.1. You can usually find that by discovering what makes you giddy, those times when you feel most alive, time evaporates and you’re in a state of bliss.

5. EVOLUTIONARY INTELLIGENCE

5.1. EVI = MI + GT + AD

5.1.1. Evolutionary Intelligence = Multiple Intelligences + Gifted Traits + Advanced Development

5.1.2. These higher-level attributes enable those who develop them to both see the world and have a commitment to the collective good, rooted in spiritual values and the recognition of the oneness of life.

6. WHO’S WORLD DO YOU LIVE IN?

6.1. It is essential to remember to work with, not around, your own uniqueness.

6.1.1. What we may have perceived as our greatest weaknesses may be signs of a deeper set of attributes that, when we truly own them, are the keys to our liberation.

7. SILENCING CRITICS

7.1. “More than those who hate you, more than all your enemies, an undisciplined mind does greater harm.”

7.2. Invite yourself to be aware of your internal dialogue.

8. HARD WORK

8.1. “The difference between a creative person and a creative producer is hard work.”

8.2. How might I go about cultivating the passion and inspiration needed to cultivate hard work?

8.2.1. Do I have any great ideas that I feel may be valuable to the world?

8.2.2. Are there growth opportunities that I could explore, should explore, and would be delighted to explore?

9. BOUNCE BACK

9.1. “Remember, no matter how ready and willing you are, all change is inevitably interspersed with backsliding… but… Everyday Geniuses are programmed to bounce back.” p. 165

9.2. If I want to bring my highest self to the world, I must cultivate the skill of bouncing back from the downs.

9.3. Mary Kay: “For every failure, there’s an alternative course of action. You just have to find it. When you come to a roadblock, take a detour.”

10. CO-CREATORS

10.1. “We are driven by purpose; we do not simply choose to drive ourselves toward our personal goals."

10.2. "If we heed the wisdom of our subconscious agenda as made known to us by our daemon, our guiding inner spirit or genius, and consciously reflect on our unique place in the scheme of human evolution, we can accept ourselves as responsive co-creators who merely collaborate with destiny instead of attempting to force it into place.”
