1. Hospitality Industry

1.1. refers to a variety of businesses and services linked to leisure and customer satisfaction.

1.2. the fact that it focuses on ideas of luxury, pleasure, enjoyment and experiences, as opposed to catering for necessities and essentials.

2. Leisure

2.1. a state of mind which ordinarily is characterised by un- obligated time and willing optimism.

3. Recreation

3.1. is considered as activitv through which leisure may be experienced and enjoyed but it is also seen as a social institution, socially organised for social purposes.

4. Tourism

4.1. Tourism is defined and understood as the activity of travelling and touring.

4.2. It is basically a set of inter-connected activities of tourists while travelling to a place

5. Tourism Industry

5.1. Tourism industry is and comprises of all the companies which provide the products and services that are meant and used by tourists at different stages of travel and tourism.

5.2. Tourism as an industry means and covers the same things but from an economic and monetary point of view.

6. Hospitality

6.1. It is important to define what we mean by the hospitality industry.

6.2. It is a broad field and while most people have a basic idea of the types of businesses that count as hospitality brands, a far smaller number are able to provide a coherent and satisfactory explanation of what the industry is, and what it is not
