Lipoma

1. 15-20% in head & neck
2. ill defined masses can occur in various neck locations
3. can be asymptomatic
4. MRI image of choice=high sensitivity to differentiate from liposarcoma
5. recurrence is rare
6. Most common benign soft tissue neoplasm
7. > 35 y/o
8. CT will have fat-air density
9. Treatment=surgical excision if symptomatic
