Judicial Branch Under Article III There are no set qualifications Selected by the president and approved by the senate There are 9 justices Head justice is called the Chief Justice Justices can serve for life or until they retire Has the power of judicial review House of Representatives At least 25 yrs of age U.S citizen for at least 7 yrs Live in the state you are representing 435 members 2 year terms

2.1. Article II of the Constitution establishes the Executive branch

2.3. Presidential and Vice Presidential requirements are the same ,must be natural born citizens of the United States, resident for 14 years, and 35 years of age or older.

Under article I -Taxing and spending powers ,Power to Borrow ,Power to coin money and regulate the value ,Commerce Power ,Foreign Policy Powers ,Nationalization power and power admit new states and govern territories,mPass laws that govern federal property, Grant copyrights and patents, Establish post office and federal courts Expressed powers are listed in the constitution and authorized by the constitution. Implied powers are not listed in the constitution but are authorized by the constitution. Enumerated powers are powers Enumerated powers are powers given to congress that are stated in the constitution. Elastic clause allows Congress the power to pass whatever laws are deemed “necessary and proper” to help Congress to carry out the enumerated powers. Senate At least 30yrs of age U.S citizenship for at least 9 yrs Resident of the state you are running for. 100 members 6 year terms
