2.3. Greeks established colonies along southern Italy and Sicily.

3. Rome Spreads its Power

3.1. Rome power grew slowly but steadily as the legions battled for control.

3.2. Romes location gave it easy access to the riches of the lands ringing the meditaranion sea.

3.3. Finnally the romans found a daring military leader to match hannibals boldness. A general names Scipio devised a plan to attack carthage.
