The Great Fire Of London

1. It was a long, hot summer so everything was dry.
2. The Fire started on September 6th 1666
3. London was made from hundred of wooden houses, that were built next to each other
4. It burnt 13,000 houses, 90 churches and St Pauls Catherdra
5. The city was burning for 4 days
6. To stop the fire spreading the Duke of York and the army exploded buildings
7. People left the city
8. Samuel Pepys wrote a famous diary about the fire
9. The whole of London was destroyed and had to be rebuilt
10. The fire started in Pudding Lane at Thomas Farriers Bakery
