3.2. Meet with Alie's parents to review expectations and that working together is key to success. Listen to parent's if they have suggestions. Make parents feel a part of the team.

3.3. Provide a homework log to be signed daily

3.4. Limit assignments to 2 days a week and shorten the length of each assignment.

3.5. Revisit this plan in 1 month to revise if needed so student is success.

4.1. Teacher knows her student is smart & does well in class, but does not know why homework is never done.

4.1.1.1. The teacher discovers that her student is from a tough background and is taking on alot of resposiblities for her family to be successful.

4.2. Parents are content with current situation. They can work and earn money to provide for family & Siblings are taken care of by Ali Jean.

4.3. Ali Jean wants to make her teacher proud of her. Not completing her homework makes her feels overwhelmed & dissapointed in herself.

5. Outcomes

5.1. Teacher could communicate with parents through email, phone call to discuss ways of giving Ali more time to do school work

5.2. Teacher can give time during the day to start homework

5.3. Teacher could Modify homework to be completed in less time but still meaningful

5.4. Give student homework 2 days a week rather than everyday.

6. Immediate Response

6.1. Create a homework schedule each week with adaquate time set aside for student. Have parent and student sign it each day for accountablitiy.

6.2. Discuss with parents the importance of providing student with time everyother day to work on school work.

6.3. Use study hall to allow student to do some of the homework assigned in class.

6.4. Met with student and assure her that she has resourse and help.
