3. Coastal Floods

3.1. Occur in areas along the coast. (Especially river mouths and low-lying coastal land)

3.2. Caused by :

3.2.1. Intense Storms

3.2.1.1. Tropical storms

3.2.1.2. Tropical Cyclones

3.2.1.2.1. Also known as Hurricanes and Typhoons

3.3. Examples:

3.3.1. Super Typhoon Haiyan Philippines 2013

3.3.2. Japan Tsunami 2011
