Browser 2012 by Mind Map: Browser 2012

1. Google Chrome

1.1. Pros

1.1.1. I like it because of its clean design, its sandboxed security system, and its Chrome Web Store

1.1.2. you can also organize apps by dragging and dropping them into new sections

1.2. Cons

1.2.1. Chrome still does not work correctly with certain websites.

1.2.2. With a Google browser you can’t hide anything anymore.

2. Mozilla Firefox

2.1. Pros

2.1.1. it saves my tabs when it crashes

2.1.2. I can add items to my Amazon Wish List with a click of a button (even if the item is on a different website).

2.2. Cons

2.2.1. Firefox has crashed on me the most out of every browser.

2.2.2. the way it was breaking every time I looked at it in recent months had gotten me to the point where I was going to toss in the trash.

3. Explorer

3.1. Pros

3.1.1. It's good for browser testing.

3.1.2. Internet Explorer also has an Automatic Crash Recovery that prevents the loss of work and productivity in the event of the browser crashing.

3.2. Cons

3.2.1. Internet Explorer is also known to get a lot of viruses.

3.2.2. Hackers know the system, and know it very well. Another reason why you need to make sure your computer is protected with antivirus programs.

4. Apple Safari

4.1. Pros

4.1.1. The one feature it has, that the others don’t have, which I think is noteworthy is “Safari Reader.”

4.1.2. Now in the mobile world, Safari is the best Web browser around.

4.2. Cons

4.2.1. once you get past its pretty looks you’re left with a pretty ordinary Web browser.

4.2.2. One of the turn-downs for installing this browser, is its large size.

5. Opera

5.1. Pros

5.1.1. It includes its own mail client, and file, message, and music-sharing service, and a built-in BitTorrent client.

5.1.2. On top of that it includes Speed Dial, a page that lets you access live Web pages and widgets.

5.2. Cons

5.2.1. That sounds good, but like many similar schemes I’ve seen over the years, in practice it doesn’t work that well.

5.2.2. It would take minutes before it would successfully sync between systems.

6. Define HTML 5

6.1. is the set of markup symbols or codes inserted in a file intended for display on a World Wide Web browser page.
