Solubility by Mind Map: Solubility

1. Solubility is a property referring to the ability for a given substance, the solute, to dissolve in a solvent. It is measured in terms of the maximum amount of solute dissolved in a solvent at equilibrium. The resulting solution is called a saturated solution.

2. Key Words

2.1. Solvent-Liquid in which as solid is dissolved in

2.2. Solute-The thingy that gets dissolved

2.3. Saturated Solution-A solution which nothing can be dissolved in it any further

2.4. Insoluble-Cannot dissolve

2.5. Solution-Result of mixture

2.6. Dilute-Make sth weaker

3. Da Water Cycle

3.1. Evaporation-蒸发

3.2. Condensation-Waters condensing and getting heavier

4. Why is compounds harder to separate than mixture

4.1. Because they are chemically connected together with bonds while separating mixtures only requires the action of separating it pjhysically.

5. Independent and dependent variable

5.1. Independent-Manipulated

5.2. Dependent-Measured
