1.1. Trap is a subgenre of hip hop music that originated in the Southern United States during the early 1990s. The genre gets its name from the Atlanta slang word "trap", which refers to a place in which drugs are sold illegally.

1.2. Add more items than the rap and it´s frequently using autotune, and other things like the incorporation of electronic music and dubstep and a big difference is this subgenre is danceable.
