1. Chief Executive

1.1. Producer

1.1.1. Before every show has happened when you first arrive and then when you leave you need to do a pre-show checklist this is a prop list of every song prop you have in the show. Making sure it is in the correct place and that it is there for the show. Making sure that at the end of every show everything is placed back in the correct place. The point of this list is to make sure all props are there and are not missing so in the morning ready for a show you are not running around trying to find everything. This keeps everything organised and prepared and should be done the second you get in getting ready for the show. DO NOT do this moments before the show starts time management is important and KEY

1.1.2. What is there main role?

1.1.2.1. The Producer covers the financial cost of all productions and making sure they have enough budget to put on the production. They are in charge of who hires the performers and everyone required to put on a show. If the theatre themselves are not putting on a show then an independent producer of the company putting on a show will be responsible.

1.1.3. Director // Artistic Director

1.1.3.1. What is there main role?

1.1.3.1.1. They are most likely a permanent staff member of a theatre and they will be a big key in productions - if there is an independent company coming in they are most likely an assistant director. They will help with how the show plans out, they have a major role in working with the fight director and choreographer. Making sure the fight scenes and dance scenes make sense - they help in in most departments making sure they are in sync with each other.

1.1.3.2. Who do they oversee

1.1.3.2.1. Technichal Department

1.1.3.2.2. Company Mangaer

1.1.3.2.3. Stage Crew

1.1.3.2.4. Property Manager

1.2. House Managers

1.2.1. Front of House

1.2.1.1. Front of house are responsible for anything that happens within the audience. So they are in charge of the Box Office and determines when the show begins and when they start letting audience members in. They have to wait for the Stage Managers signal before starting this is KEY. They are in charge of food - drinks - programs - anything that requires purchases from the audience. They have financial responsibility within the show. The Front of house manager are in charge to dealing with people who are late or people who are on there phones. They have the job of telling people to get off there phones or to seat the late comers

1.2.1.2. Ushers

1.2.1.2.1. They are in charge of handing out programs and selling tickets they are known as the door openers or ticket checkers. They allow and help people into the show. They will sell ice cream and food to the audience members and help them get seated. Like the front of house they have a big role in seating late comers and dealing with people on there phones.

1.2.2. Production Manager

1.2.2.1. What is there main role?

1.2.2.1.1. For the most part they are in charge of quite a lot. They would normally start working on a show during the audition stage and help out and pick out who is going to be cast. During the same time they would prepare budgets and make sure they have an appropriate budget for each of the departments to work with. They would do most things that the Stage Manager would do, so they would make sure backstage is organised. Help with a contact list and everything like that. They are a VITAL role within the company.
