1. Sumeria
1.1. Geography: Sumer is a region of the Middele East that stretches in a large, crescent-shaped curve from the Persian Gulf to the Mediterranean Sea
1.2. Writing: Cuneiform is a system of writing that uses triangular-shaped symbols to stand for ideas or things.
1.3. Government: Sumeria is the name given to the civilization that developed in the Mesopotamia region as city-states.
2. Shang or Huang
2.1. Geography: China has two main rivers: the Huang and the Chang (chahng). They provide water for farming.
2.2. Writing: the Shang kingdom rose to dominate a large part of the region to become the first documented Chinese Dynasty.
2.3. Government:The Shang leaders organized groups of farmers to clear and prepare new land.
3. Egypt
3.1. Geography: Egypt farmers were able to grow more and more food due to the Nile
3.2. Writing:Ancient Egyptians developed early forms of writing by 3200 B.C.
3.3. Government:The pharaohs relied on a Bureaucracy, or a system of offices and officials that handle the business of government.
4. Indus
4.1. Geography:Chinese civilization arose along the Huang (hwong) River, also called the Yellow River.
4.2. writing: Scholar hasn´t discovered how to read the symbols found on the stone seals and pottery of the Indus Valley.
4.3. Government: Strong central government
