6. Why the protests after the agreement ?

6.1. The Bengali and the Mizo groups in Tripura claim that settling the Brus in Kanchanpur subdivision of North Tripura would exert pressure on

6.1.1. on local resources,

6.1.2. change the demographic balance in the area

6.1.2.1. leading to law and order problems. Hence they are protesting against the settlement plan.
