1. Preposition can ba followed by nouns, pronouns, or gerund
1.1. I apologized to Alison. (noun)
1.2. I apologized to her. (pronoun)
1.3. I apologized for forgetting her graduation day. (Gerund)
2. Some verbs are usually followed by certain prepositions.
2.1. I apologize for arriving late.
2.2. I look forward to seeing you.
2.3. I’m thinking of moving out.
2.4. I’m dreaming of graduation.
