MEREDITH DUNNING

1. GOALS

1.1. I am planning to graduate with my masters from JHU at the end of 2022.

1.2. My goal is to gain employment with a top tier consulting firm post graduation.

1.3. After recently purchasing a mirrorless camera, I am looking forward to learning more about photography and video this year.

2. HOBBIES

2.1. My free time is spent with my family. The birth of our daughter and virtual school for my boys in 2021 has kept us very busy.

2.2. When I do have a moment, I love running, biking, illustration, photography, and baking.

2.3. Often, I have headphones on listening to music or an audiobook.

3. LIFE

3.1. I was born and raised in Tennessee. I attended the University of Tennessee and graduated with a BA in Business Administration with a focus in Marketing and International Business.

3.2. My career began with AT&T which relocated me to the sunny state of California where I met my husband. We have three (9/B, 7/B, 9mths/G) amazing children. This year is our 10 year anniversary.

3.3. Life has taken us to many beautiful cities! We met in San Diego, moved to Hawaii, and recently relocated to Alexandria, Virginia. Needless to say, we miss the ocean and hope to be back in Hawaii soon.

4. EXPERIENCE

4.1. My career began in retail sales management which provided me with an intimate connection to understanding leadership and people.

4.2. After having our first child, I rediscovered my desire to understand the customer from a marketing and design perspective. I taught myself Adobe Illustrator and began illustrating, designing logos, and branding.

4.3. My experience ignited a desire to return to school to obtain my masters degree landing me at Johns Hopkins.
