1. Concurrent criterion-related evidence is when measures can be validated at the same time they are administered. Validating while administering provides instant feedback for the tester.

2. Criterion-related validity evidence is when test scores are compared to an external criterion. Comparing to external criterion allows a test to relate to previous methods of assessment.

4. Validity is defined as whether a test truly measures what it is supposed to measure. Validity is fundamental in creating assessments to know if students are truly learning material.

5. Predictive validity evidence is useful for aptitude tests and predicts testees future behaviors. Being able to predict future behaviors allows the teacher to create and implement future lesson plans and assessments.

6. Construct validity evidence is when a test has correlation to a theory to help support it. Correlating to a theory provides some fundamental knowledge for reference.
