Why is history important?

1. Because it helps us understand why society is the way it is.
2. Because it gives us a better understanding of different races, religions, sexuality's, and genders.
3. Because it helps us understand what it means to be human.
4. Because it gives us a different outlook on life.
5. Because it improves our ways of dealing with things.
6. Because it makes us smarter.
7. Because it teaches us there's always two sides to a story.
8. Because it raises awareness for mistakes made in the past so it can be avoided again in the future.
9. Because it gives us an understanding of where we came from.
10. Because it gives us a huge glimpse of what life could of been like for us.
11. Because it relates to our everyday lives.
12. Because it changes the way we think of each other.
