1. permission or lack of permission

1.1. can/(not)+ base verb

1.1.1. something that someone gives you the permission to do it or not to do it , example : you can use the elevator , I'll give you my PIN code.

2. lack of necessity

2.1. don't/doesn't + have to+ base verb

2.1.1. Not important ,for example: you don't have to buy this doll, it's useless !

3. prohibition

3.1. mustn't + base verb

3.1.1. something that is forbidden by law , for example : You mustn't use your phone while you are driving

4. obligation

4.1. internal (must+ base verb)

4.1.1. something you force your self to do , for example : I must study before I go to the mall

4.2. external (have/has to + base verb)

4.2.1. something that someone like parents or government forced you to do , and if you didn't do it, the there will be a Punishment . for example : you have to stop the car when the traffic lights are red.

5. Advice

5.1. advisable(should + base verb)

5.1.1. recommend to do something, example : you should go to Petra if you visit Jordan on holiday

5.2. not advisable ( shouldn't+base verb)

5.2.1. not to do something , example:you shouldn't point at people, it's rude!

7. Ability or lack of ability

7.1. can/(not) + base verb

7.1.1. the mental power to be able or not able to do something, example: we can't travel without our passport.
