1.1. Action: It interferes with the formation of fibrin inhibits the synthesis of thrombin from prothrombin.
1.1.1. Uses: (The most commonly used drug.) 1.Treatment of a blood clot destined for the lungs. 2.Prevention of intravenous thrombosis. 3_blood thinner. 4.Anticoagulant in blood transfusion
2. 1_Heparin:
2.1. Contraindications: ▪︎ Severe hypertension ▪︎ stroke ▪︎ liver disease

11.3. Side effects: ▪︎ Hemorrhage ▪︎ Rash ▪︎ anemia ▪︎ Elevated liver enzymes ▪︎ jaundice ▪︎fever
