1. Document Size

1.1. goes hand in hand with pixel dimensions

1.2. Resolution

1.2.1. tells us how many pixels will print out in our photo

1.3. Includes Width, Height, and Resolution

1.4. Example of box in Photoshop

1.4.1. Width 48 inches, Height 32 inches, Resolution 72 Pixels/inch

1.4.1.1. if there is 3456 pixels right to left, and 2304 pixels going up and down and Resolution is 72

1.4.1.1.1. divide to see how big the picture will be (3456/72=48) (2304/72=32) so your picture will be 48in wide and 32in high

2. Pixel Dimensions

2.1. tells us the width and height of our image in pixels

2.1.1. how many pixels are in our image from right to left and from top to bottom

2.2. to find total amount of pixels simply multiply the width times the hieght

2.3. MP = mega pixels (mega meaning millino) so if you have a 8MP camera your pictures will approxiamately come out to have 8 million pixels
