2.1. Better understanding of the earths core, even though we don't know exactly everything about it

2.2. We now know that it is basically impossible to have access to the earths core

2.3. We have some images of how we think the earths core looks like

3.1. Thought that they could go visit the inside of the earth

3.2. Had no knowledge of what was inside the earth
