Cells

1. Animal Cell
2. Plant Cell
3. Cell membrane - It is a thin layer of protein and fat that surrounds the cell. The cell membrane has a partially permeable membrane, allowing some substances to pass into the cell and blocking others.
4. Nucleus - The nucleus controls many of the functions of the cell and contains DNA (in chromosomes).
5. Cytoplasm - A jellylike material outside the cell nucleus in which the organelles are located.
6. Ribosome - It synthesizes proteins
7. Mitochondrion - Spherical to rod-shaped organelles that converts the energy stored in glucose into ATP (adenosine triphosphate) for the cell.
8. Lysosome - Round organelles surrounded by a membrane and containing digestive enzymes. Where the digestion of cell nutrients takes place.
9. Cell wall - A thick, rigid membrane that surrounds a plant cell. This layer of cellulose fiber gives the cell most of its support and structure. The cell wall also bonds with other cell walls to form the structure of the plant.
10. Chloroplast - An organelle containing chlorophyll. Photosynthesis takes place in the chloroplasts.
11. Nucleus, Cytoplasm and cell membrane same as animal cell
12. Vacuole - It helps maintain the shape of the cell.
