1.1. The S in SPARK stands for showing respect, One way I can show respect in my science class is to use appropitate language towards my classmates.
1.2. The P in SPARK stands for persevere towards goals, One way I can persevere towards my goals in my science class is even if I dont understand the question I still try my best.
1.3. The A in SPARK stands for act responsibly, One way I can act responsibly in my science class is to listen to my teacher and not cut any questions.
1.4. The R in SPARK stands for Relate with empathy, One way I can relate with empathy in my science class is to think positively even if I get several answers wrong on my assignment.
1.5. The K in SPARK stands for keep kindness going, One way I can keep kindness going in my science class is by saying thank you politely when a teacher / classmate helps me on my work.
2. syllabus
2.1. General policies
2.1.1. Being in class is the most important part of this course. Do not let anyone copy your work; both parties involved will receive a ZERO. Be honest in all your academic coursework therefore submit your own original work. Cheating will not be tolerated. You lose the chance to learn and you get a “0” – worse than an “F” and also result in disciplinary action. Questions are encouraged and necessary. There will be no side conversations between students during lecture time but discussion is encouraged on academic topics. It is your responsibility to do the following: Focus on the teacher during instruction, listen when someone else is contributing to the discussion. Follow directions the first time they are given. Adopt team spirit for group work.

2.1.2.1. Late work is accepted for 50% partial credit. All late work made up must be made-up within the current Unit being taught.
