1. How do we reform education?

1.1. The current education system we have today does not feed our spirit, energy and passion

1.1.1. We have to transform education from an industrial model, which is based on linearity and conformity, as well as batching people, to one that is based on the principles of agricultre

1.1.1.1. We have to recognized that human flourishing is not a mechanical process, but one that is organic

1.1.2. We cannot predict the outcome of human develoment

1.1.2.1. We can only create the conditions under which they will begin to flourish

1.2. Education is not like a cloning system

1.2.1. Thus, when we look at reforming it, it is about customizing the system to one's circumstances ( or the society's ) and personalizing it.

2. There is no need to reform education

2.1. The current education system we have today are producing professionals that are able to contribute to the development of our society today

2.2. The development of one's talent does not necessarily mean that one will be able to contribute to the progress of our society today

2.3. The current education system we have today is able to equip our new generation with the necessary skills required to survive in our competitive society today

2.3.1. Additionally, our current education system is able to instil moral values and develop the characters of our young today.

4.1. Education is a form of learning in which the knowledge, skills, and habits of a group of people are transferred from one generation to the next through teaching, training, or research.

4.2. Sir Ken Robinson feels that education in the 21st century has become a major "climate" crisis

4.2.1. It is a crisis of not natural resources, but rather with human resources we have today

5. There is need to reform education

5.1. Why?

5.1.1. We make poor use of our talents in today's society

5.1.2. Many go through their lives not knowing what their natural talent actually is, or putting them into use

5.1.2.1. They go through their lives enduring and surviving it, not enjoying it

5.1.3. Education dislocates many from their natural talents

5.1.3.1. It is important for us to create the natural circumstances one needs to develop his inner potential

5.1.3.1.1. However, our current education system fails to do so

5.2. We need a revolution of our education system, not an evolution

5.2.1. Education has to be transformed, and not improved based on our current systems

5.2.1.1. The problem with transformation is that many think they could not and will not be able to do so

5.3. Many of our ideas has been formed not to the circumstances of this century, but rather to cope with the circumstances of the previous centuries

5.3.1. This causes the failure to nurture one to his potential in today's education system

5.3.2. An example given by Sir Ken Robinson will be that kids in our society today live in a world that is digitized, unlike adults who once lived in a mechanised society

5.4.1. It is one idea enthralled in our education system today

5.4.1.1. We see education as a straight path to develop oneself

5.5.1. We have built our education systems on the model of fast food, where everything is standardized, and not customized to local circumstances

5.6. Human communities depend on a diversity of talents, and not a single conception of ability.

5.6.1. At the heart of our challenge is to reconstitute our sense of ability and intelligence

5.6.1.1. Human talent in tremendously diverse and people have different aptitudes

5.7. Reforming education is the answer to the future, as it is not about scaling a new solution, but about create a movement in which people develop their own solutions, but with external support based on a personalized curriculum
