7. Strand 4-Digital Learning resonates with me the most. This strand is rather important because I don’t feel that classroom teachers get the opportunities or time to explicitly teach these dimensions. The Strand states, “ that effective school libraries are a vital hub with equitable access to emerging technologies which provide curated and open access to a variety of print and digital resources. They support best instructional practices and curriculum strands through integration of resources while assessing the impact on student learning.” This strand is all about teaching students how to use technology and information literacy and how to construct and present new knowledge. This is especially important because information is gathered in seconds and students need to understand the ethical way of using technology such as artificial intelligence.
