1. Input Devices: Any computer peripheral (device that can be connected to a computer) that you can use to enter data into the computer.
1.1. Keyboard
1.2. Mouse
2. Output Devices: Pieces of hardware that move data that have been processed out of the computer.
2.1. Monitor
2.2. Printer
3. Together the keyboard and mouse allow the user to control the computer and gain access to all of it's programs and applications. Without a mouse and keyboard students would not be able to type papers, do research online, or make mindmaps like this one.
