1. My new idea about Technology changed by studing on the course materials and other reading

1.1. Technology is sort of output of creativity where humans use their problem-solving strategy to overcome barriers.

1.2. Technology is driving a lots of things in our lives it’s a double-edged sword

1.2.1. Positive side: contributes to the improvement of convenience and efficiency, creation jobs, to unlock human potential

1.2.2. Negative side: over-dependent on technique, lack of creativity, lead to academic integrity issues and others

1.3. The way technology is used and created is very important. It affects how technology benefits the world. We need to use technology in a way that is good for everyone and helps us live better lives.

2. What I read and learned

2.1. Kevin Kelly’s (2010), TED talk: “Technology is anything useful invented by a mind.”

2.2. "Technology represents the combination of human understanding of natural laws and phenomena accumulated since ancient times to make things that fulfil our needs and desires or that perform certain functions" (Karatsu, 1990, as cited in Li-Hua, 2007).

2.2.1. Li-Hua (2007) stated that:”technology has to create things that benefit human beings.”

2.3. Contractor and Sagafi-Nejad (1981) describe technology as “a bundle of information, rights, and services.”

2.4. Comprehensive and Various. Dyer J (2019) states that technology is a complex concept with various definitions, just like "art", diffictult to define, he proposes four main categories of technology: hardware, manufacturing, methodology and social usage. Dyer J(2019) tries to emphasis that :"Technology is not just the phones in our pockets and the laptops in our bags.", it also about more arroud them.
