Analysis of Kate Nash - 'Foundations'

1. Sound: The way Kate Nash sings is almost like she's talking, this seems like she's speaking directly to the audience to get her point across and give the song more meaning

2. Locations: All set in a house. Bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, living room

3. The video connects with lyrics, as it basically shows a visual of the storyline. There is a strong narrative running throughout the video, and it was due to the lyrics

4. media language: Camera - She is always central to show she's the dominant character, also using eye contact for this. Proxemics show them as being distant with each other. Close ups on her face to show emotion. Shot from the audiences perspective. Pop is generally based on love/relationships, these types of camera angles make more personal.
