1. What % Uses Windows?

1.1. Pros:

1.1.1. 80% of the world desk top computers run some ort of windows operating systems.

1.1.2. There are many programs that run off of these windows.

1.2. Cons:

1.2.1. Some of these windows may have poor security

1.2.2. People can in stall spy where programs on these desk tops

2. Apple, OSX, Leopard

2.1. Pros:

2.1.1. Safer then windowers due to the UNIX base

2.1.2. Has a good clean look to the program

2.2. Cons:

2.2.1. Does not have to much support

2.2.2. Cant find to many programs

3. Linux: Open Source, Free

3.1. Pros:

3.1.1. All programs are free

3.1.2. Great for servers

3.2. Cons:

3.2.1. has limited support for proprietairy applacations

3.2.2. There are not to many companys that make programs for Linux.

4.1. Operating SystemsDefinition: interface between hardware and user which is responsible for the management and coordination of activities and the sharing of the resources of the computer that acts as a host for computing applications run on the machine.
