1.1. Father is a drug dealer
1.1.1. Father knows how to handle money from dealing with drugs than taking better care of his daughter and meet all their needs.
1.2. Baby has no mother presently
1.2.1. Makes it difficult since not much money is made by the father and they need more money for sustaining their lives. (Rent for apartment, food...etc.)
1.3. Financially unstable.
2. Psychological
2.1. Psychologically different from an ordinary 12-year old.
2.1.1. At such a young age, Baby was being brought up in a bad neighborhood.
2.1.2. Baby doesn't know what a real and good father is like. She doesn't realize that Jules was only happy when he was stoned.
2.1.2.1. "No f***ing twelve-year-old gave you those socks... you’re a god damn liar and you’re a whore... You're going to be a pervert!... You'll only be fit for drug addicts. Why can't you be a normal girl?... I’d be embarrassed to walk down the street with you” (pg. 156)- What Jules said when he wasn't currently on drugs.
2.2. Confused with what the bad and wrong is.
2.2.1. Baby wasn't ever really taught at a young age what was bad and wrong so she had to slowly come up with her own definition. In the end, she doesn't realize that Theo is abusive and dangerous.
2.3. Smart (intelligent)
2.4. Uses drugs to overcome her pain (emotional and physical)
3. Physical
3.1. Becomes an easy target for physical abuse. (Alphonse punched her but that didn't stop the feelings she has for him.)
4. Social
4.1. Not socially accepted by students because she was "poor".
4.1.1. Did not meet the needs of an ordinary or in other terms "accepted" by others.
