1. Inciting Incident: The girls walk into the store in nothing but their swimming suits.
2. Complications: Trying to find the herring for mother. Dealing with the store manager.
3. Crisis: When the girls finally make it to the register. Sammy treats them normally, but his manager does not want to.
4. Climax: Sammy telling his manager that he is quitting because of the way he acted.
5. Denouement: Sammy realizing that what he did was pointless, because he would get ridicule from his parents and that he didn't gain the attention he wanted from the girls.
