1.1. Junior colleges are just like community colleges except that they're private schools.
2. Private and Public
2.1. Private institutions offer more degrees and certificates up to the doctoral level these colleges are very diverse and even have professional degrees like law and medicine. Focus more on personal characteristics and activities instead of GPA and test scores
2.2. Public institutions are usually cheaper for in-state residents. They get their money from the state or local government.
